She served as a Children’s Pastor in Canada for over 17 years, working closely with families and children, and has spent the last 10 years in Honduras as the Director of Schools of Hope Honduras, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing lasting change through education, nutrition, and clean water. Kathy is a visionary leader—independent, confident, and bold. Her journey of faith has led her to take on a variety of roles and responsibilities that have shaped her into the strong, compassionate leader she is today. She continues to follow God’s call with courage, creativity, and a heart for service.

Lorna George : Equipping To Thrive

Lorna A. George is the founder of Equipping To Thrive, a coaching and consulting firm committed to helping women over 50 transform their influence into a purpose-driven legacy. As a personal and executive coach and former lawyer of 17+ years, Lorna brings laser-sharp clarity, compassion, and no-nonsense strategy to the women she serves. Her coaching is anchored in her VIP Framework, Values, Impact, and People. This framework equips female solopreneurs and organizational leaders to overcome imposter syndrome, reclaim their power, and build purpose-driven legacies that impact the lives of others. Outside her coaching practice, Lorna champions equity and opportunity through Sandal Strap, an organization she founded to support Black women as community builders. A former U.S. diplomat, turned author, certified coach, and podcast host and the visionary behind The Immigrant Experience in America podcast and The Bridge Concepts. Her mission is to help Third Culture Persons and immigrants not only adjust, but thrive, embracing their identity while bridging the gap between cultures.
